ABOUT TOY ZOO:

Toy Zoo is a doom pop band hailing from Boise, Idaho. Combining a love of synth-driven new wave with distorted punk music, Toy Zoo brings a raucous party to their live shows. Consisting of a vocalist, a synth player, two bassists and a drummer; their sound can veer in scope from raw post-punk to synthesized bliss to heavy, rollicking doom-influenced punk. Having released their self-titled record last year, Toy Zoo is busy recording their second record.

ABOUT SICK WISH:

Sick Wish was formed in 2014 by Boise musicians Brett Nelson (Built To Spill), Cory Hentrup (Toy Zoo), Jonah Nelson (Standing Stupid) and Marty Chase Martin (Sleepy Seeds). Their sound has been described as new wave/post punk in the vein of Joy Division. Having just wrapped up their recording debut “Riddelvoid,” they are planning to tour to support its release throughout the U.S. this spring and summer.
