On Saturday, April 18 (8am-8pm), The Record Exchange will celebrate our favorite holiday of the year, Record Store Day! Per Record Exchange tradition, we’re turning it into a weekend-long celebration with sales and events Friday, April 17 through Monday, April 20.
RECORD EXCHANGE RECORD STORE DAY HIGHLIGHTS:
– The Record Exchange will have 350 exclusive Record Store Day releases available on Saturday, April 18. – Join Moon Ruins Records and The Record Exchange at 6pm on Record Store Day Eve April 17 for an advance listening party featuring AKA Belle’s forthcoming new album All Time is Now, Now is All You Have + The Time for Love is Always Now. Celebrate All Time is Nowwith an exclusive first spin in advance of AKA Belle’s official album release party at Realms Arcade on Friday, April 24. Anyone who preorders the album or purchases another Moon Ruins release will receive a free ticket to the release party! Our craft beer partners Boise Brewing will be on hand offering free cans of their delicious homegrown beer to guests 21 and older (with valid I.D.). – The Jazz Dispensary series has been an annual Record Store Day favorite, and to cap our 2026 RSD weekend we are hosting a 10th anniversary celebration at 5:30pm Monday, April 20! HIGH Lights: A Decade of Dankness will feature Jazz Dispensary music, free Legalize Jazz bumper sticker and Jazz Dispensary Rx notepad while supplies last, a drawing for a 12 x 12 authorized print and zoetrope slipmat plus an event-exclusive release only available for purchase at the event!
– Boise musicians will busk on the sidewalk in front of the store from noon to 4pm on Saturday, April 18.
