A Record Store Day Exclusives Listening Party will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, April 15 at The Record Exchange (1105 W. Idaho St. in Downtown Boise). As always, this Record Exchange event is free and all ages.
Get a preview of RSD ’16 releases on The Record Exchange hi-fi while you enjoy free Payette Brewing Co. beer (21 and older with I.D.)* and enter to win one of several raffle prizes, including the first five places in line for Record Store Day!
Available for purchase will be a commemorative book about The Record Exchange and the other member stores of the Coalition of Independent Stores (CIMS). The book, published for CIMS’ 20th anniversary, was produced and printed in Boise for national distribution and includes a forward from The Record Exchange Owner Michael Bunnell, who is Executive Director of CIMS and a founding board member of Record Store Day.
We also will have 20% off used music/video (CDs, vinyl, DVDs, Blu-ray and cassettes) and a bonus Carlos Santana listening party at 8pm, with a chance to win a signed vinyl test pressing of Santana’s new album Santana IV!
