BRIGHT EYES SCAVENGER HUNT WINNER!

In what has to be a world record or something, Ashley Durand found the Bright Eyes autographed vinyl mere seconds after we posted the photo.

Ashley’s strategy: Camping out at the store this morning and obsessively checking her smartphone for the post. Now, that’s smart.

As for the rest of you, Bright Eyes’ new album The People’s Key is available at The Record Exchange for the $9.99 Right Price on CD and $21.99 on vinyl.

LIFELONG DREAM COMES TRUE: RECORD EXCHANGE MAKES RACHAEL RAY SHOW THANKS TO BOISE’S ’90s GRUNGE GUY

WATCH “AFTER” CHANNEL 2 INTERVIEW HERE

A few weeks ago, The Record Exchange was visited by a camera crew from the Rachael Ray Show to film a segment for a “Time-Warp Makeover” featuring Boise’s Luke Fulkerson, aka the “90s Grunge Guy” (seen above pre-makeover).

The crew filmed Luke picking through the RX CD racks and chillin’ outside the store. “Having The Record Exchange as my location was a no-brainer,” Luke told us after the shoot. To which we reply, awesome.

You can watch Luke break his rusty cage on national TV HERE. Boise’s Channel 2 also conducted an “after” interview with Luke here at the RX; watch it HERE.

For the record, The Record Exchange loves long-haired dudes who are stuck in the ’90s, though we dig Luke’s new look, too — but we’ll be monitoring his purchases closely to make sure he doesn’t start buying Josh Groban CDs.
