IN THE RECORD EXCHANGE GIFT SHOP: THE FUTURE IS NOW – 2012 CALENDARS!
Whoa, 2012 calendars already?! Isn’t the new year like, four months away?
Yes. Yes it is. But this is the way the whole calendar thing works. They come out now, so you have enough time to choose the right one for the right person — whether that’s you or Aunt Nancy — and you’re not scrambling at the last minute.
Besides, a lot of calendars are actually 16-month calendars, so it’s not like you can’t use them right away. And here in The Record Exchange Gift Shop, the calendars are stylin’ — we have something for everyone, including Anne Taintor, classic Hollywood divas, animals, cartoons, nature, humor, art, weird stuff, trippy stuff, sassy stuff and Pride and Prejudice with Zombies.
Uh, Happy New Year!

IN THE RECORD EXCHANGE GIFT SHOP: COLORFUL THINK BOISE FIRST TEES!
Boise pride, yo. Wear it on your shirt. Maybe we suggest one of the new, colorful Think Boise First tees?
Take a look at the photo above for a sampling of the fresh new hues we have in stock here in The Record Exchange Gift Shop. Not only do they look sharp, but the tees help support a good cause, too: Your T-shirt purchase benefits Sustainable Community Connections, the non-profit organization that manages the Think Boise First program.
Think Boise First was founded in 2008 by a small group of business owners and community advocates who believe local businesses are the core of a thriving local economy. A local living community ensures that economic power resides locally, sustaining healthy community life as well as long-term economic viability.
Who wouldn’t want to wear that message on a shirt?
