FIRST PART OF A SPECIAL USED VINYL AND MUSIC MEMORABILIA COLLECTION TO BE MADE AVAILABLE ON SATURDAY, JULY 22

On Saturday, July 22, The Record Exchange will roll out the first part of a special used vinyl and music memorabilia collection we recently purchased from a Boise family.

The collection was lovingly curated by David Proctor, a published writer, longtime Idaho resident and Record Exchange customer who passed away in 2019 following a lengthy battle with cancer. David was a lifelong music fan who amassed 4,000 vinyl records and hundreds of CDs and books. The Record Exchange was honored to purchase the collection from the Proctor family and share its story with fellow collectors like you.

The initial batch of the collection we are rolling out on July 22 includes select vinyl rarities, music books and photographs, which will be located on the stage. In the weeks and months to follow, more of the collection will be added to the racks as it is processed and priced. The titles will include an insert noting their origins in David’s collection.
