The second annual Gem State Jam Music and Arts Festival will take place at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at the Old Idaho Penitentiary, and this year’s fest is bigger and better than the inaugural event!
Twelve national and local acts will rock two solar-powered stages. The festival also features artists, vendors and penitentiary exhibits.
Scheduled Gem State Jam performers include:
Cash’d Out (Johnny Cash tribute)
Jerry Joseph with Wally Ingrim
Mike Pinto Band
The Very Most
David Robert King
Dan Keck (Bank)
Boise Rock School
Purchase advance tickets at The Record Exchange for $15 and save $5 (tickets are 20 bucks at the gate). That low ticket price includes the Old Pen’s regular admission, so you’ll have full access to the facility grounds during the festival.
The Record Exchange is giving away tickets to the festival. To enter to win a pair, e-mail us HERE by midnight Monday, June 14. The winners will be selected at random and notified on Tuesday, June 15.
GSquare Productions and the Idaho Historical Society want you to ride your Bike to the Gem State Jam! There will be plenty of bicycle parking and much to see, so come early and stay a while.
