Equaleyes will visit Record Exchange for an in-store performance and album release party at 7 p.m. Friday, April 30. As always, this Record Exchange in-store concert is free and all ages.
Fans who attend the in-store and purchase Equaleyes’ new album Heartbeat will receive a free ticket to the band’s May 22 celebration at the Knitting Factory. Friday’s Record Exchange in-store is your only chance to purchase the album before May 22. The band will be signing CDs following the in-store show.
Hailing from the mountains of Idaho, Equaleyes began touring throughout the West Coast and Pacific Northwest in 2006 with a blend of rock, pop, funk and Americana. With four years together and almost 1,000 shows, the band is releasing their third album Heartbeat this spring.
“At its heart, this good-time band pulls together really strong melodies, a rare feat for the genre of jam. The compositions feel fun, as lyrics paint pictures of places and people. It’s what happens when some creative guys from the Idaho mountains get an itch and relentlessly pursue their musical passions.” — Dan Black, The Boise Planet.
