Have you heard of The Electronic Anthology Project? No? Well, have you heard of Built to Spill? Okay, read on.
The Electronic Anthology Project is Doug Martsch and Brett Nelson. The best description of the album/concept can be found — along with a couple of song streams — on the EAP MySpace, which describes it as “Built to Spill re-recorded in the vein of the 80’s 12 inch remix.”
Whether that sounds awful or awesome to you, you need to check it out. You’ll be pleasantly surprised, we thinks. The limited-release album is available at The Record Exchange for the awfully awesome price of $9.99.
Read a brief article about the album on the Seattle Weekly website HERE. Hey, we’d post a local link if, you know, someone at the Boise Weekly or Statesman got hip to the album, hint hint.
