ENTER TO WIN AN ELVIS COSTELLO PRIZE PACK: ‘THE BOY NAMED IF’ LP AND AUTOGRAPHED WHITE LABEL ONE-SIDED 7-INCH!

Elvis Costello just released his new album The Boy Named If, and to celebrate Capitol Records sent us an LP and signed white-label 7-inch to give to one lucky customer!

To enter the drawing, send an email* with the subject “Elvis Costello” HERE by midnight Thursday, Jan. 27. We will randomly draw a name and notify the winner on Friday, Jan. 28.

The Boy Named If is a an album of urgent, immediate songs with bright melodies, guitar solos that sting and a quick step to the rhythm.

Costello says, “The full title of this record is ‘The Boy Named If (And Other Children’s Stories).’ ‘If’ is a nickname for your imaginary friend; your secret self, the one who knows everything you deny, the one you blame for the shattered crockery and the hearts you break, even your own.”

Produced by Sebastian Krys and Elvis Costello, the album is a collection of 13 snapshots “that take us from the last days of a bewildered boyhood to that mortifying moment when you are told to stop acting like a child – which for most men (and perhaps a few gals, too) can be any time in the next 50 years,” as Costello put it.

* One entry per person per title, NOT per email address. If you have 16 email addresses and you enter with each address, we’ll just delete 15 of them. We have the technology. To be eligible to win, you must live in the Treasure Valley/Boise metro area and be able to pick up your prize at the store.
