With an amazing lineup of national, regional and local music, including Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Animal Collective, Youth Lagoon and Sage Francis, the Treefort Music Fest is one of the most anticipated events on the 2013 Treasure Valley music calendar.

During last year’s fest, The RX played host to a couple of secret in-stores, and this year we have a couple of surprises, well, in store, too. But for now, you can purchase physical four-day passes and check out the 2012 Treefort merch in The Record Exchange Gift Shop!

Idaho Live is putting on back-to-back shows at the Egyptian Theatre — Aimee Mann Oct. 4 and Beach House Oct. 5 — and we have a limited number of tickets to hand out free with purchase of the artists’ latest albums!

Now in its seventh year, the Sawtooth Music Festival returns to Stanley, Idaho, for a weekend of music in the mountains July 27 and 28.

Win a pair of weekend passes from The Record Exchange — one lucky winner will even get a camping pass! Send an email with the subject “Sawtooth Music Festival tickets” HERE by midnight Sunday, July 22, for a chance to win! The winner will be randomly drawn and notified on Monday, July 23.

WIN TICKETS TO 'YELLOW SUBMARINE' SATURDAY AT THE EGYPTIAN (2 SHOWS)!

The Egyptian Theatre is screening The Beatles’ classic animated film Yellow Submarine on Saturday, and The Record Exchange is giving away tickets!

To enter, send an email with the subject “Yellow Submarine” HERE by midnight Thursday, June 14. The winners will be drawn at random and notified on Friday, June 15.

The Record Exchange also is selling tickets to both shows (4 p.m. matinee and 7:30 evening screening). Tickets are $8 adults/$6 students for the matinee and $10 adults/$8 students for the evening screening. Full details HERE.

The RX also will be on hand at the Egyptian selling copies of the digitally-restored film on DVD and Blu-ray, which were released on June 5. Stop by and say hi!
