MAJOR LAZER – Peace Is the Mission LP
Limited vinyl LP pressing. The third album from Major Lazer, the collaborative project created and produced by Diplo (AKA Wesley Pentz), was preceded by the international hit single “Lean On” featuring DJ Snake and MØ. The single reached number one in Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Finland and the Netherlands and peaked within the Top 10 in an additional 14 countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States and Germany. Major Lazer’s 2010 mixtape Lazerproof and EP Lazers Never Die paved the way for a collaboration with Beyonce on her massive hit “Run the World (Girls).”

This remastered album is already out on Digital, and the CD will be coming on 9/15.

THE BETA BAND — Champion Versions EP
Champion Versions is the first release by The Beta Band, originally released in 1997 on 12″ vinyl only. The EP was later included in its entirety on the 1998 compilation The Three E.P.’s, along with The Patty Patty Sound and Los Amigos del Beta Bandidos. Rhino is reissuing this EP on vinyl.

With the move to a global Friday street date in July, Vinyl Tuesday was established to celebrate music in physical form and give record store customers access to early and exclusive releases. For artists, it’s a chance to showcase special releases on a special day and not get lost on the increasingly crowded Friday/weekend.

CZARFACE – Ka-Bang! 10-inch color picture disc
It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s CZARFACE & MF DOOM! Who better to team up with the boom-bap hero de jour CZARFACE but the super-villain himself … the masked man known as MF DOOM! “Ka-Bang!” accomplishes just that, and is taken from the bestselling Every Hero Needs A Villain, the sophomore album from CZARFACE, the collaborative stylings of Wu-Tang Clan’s Inspectah Deck and indy rap vets 7L & Esoteric. On it, the three MCs assemble for some clobberin’ time over a hypnotically sparse and bass heavy track from DJ 7L. The picture disc 10-inch also contains the lyrical krypton of “Deviatin’ Septums” (only available digitally until now), plus the mighty “Ka-Bang! (Suckface’s Swine Mix),” which is exclusive to this release! The b-side features instrumental versions to all three tracks. All of it is pressed on high quality 10-inch picture disc vinyl featuring the amazing comic-book-inspired art work of L’Amour Supreme of Mishka NYC fame.
