The candle market this time of year is like the mall – crowded. In The Record Exchange Gift Shop, we make it easy to get around – and easy to find a great candle or two to cover your Christmas list wishes.

A favorite new arrival of ours is this collection of half-pint candles from Skeem. Each glass jar is silk-screened and topped with a printed metal lid with images inspired by vintage fabrics and wallpaper patterns. After burning for up to 50 hours, the empty jars can be re-purposed on a desk to house paper clips or in the kitchen for sea salt!

Very few mythical creatures scream “pencil sharpener,” but, well, very few mythical creatures are as badass as the unicorn.
