ARTIST STATEMENT:
Seeing how Halloween is coming up and the show kicked off in October this year, I went the creepy route. This guy (Purple People Eater) has popped up in my work in the past, and I thought it would be fitting to bring it to life Munny style. I really needed to break away from the owls that perch up in my noggin. That, and I was really stoked on Julia Green’s use of purple in a recent painting she did.
