The Record Exchange is participating in the eighth annual Boise Record Show and Swap on Saturday, Oct. 17 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) at El Korah Shrine, 1118 W. Idaho St. in Downtown Boise. General admission is $5 beginning at 10 a.m.; VIP early admission hour is $10 beginning at 9 a.m. A free raffle ticket is included with all admissions.
Dealers from four states – including private dealers and independent record stores – will offer thousands of records across a wide variety of genres. Everyone from the hardcore collector hunting for rarities to the thrifty newcomer looking to start a collection will find something at the swap. The Record Exchange will have vinyl ranging from collectibles to budget, audio equipment and vintage concert posters for sale, including used vinyl that hasn’t hit the floor yet at the store!
El Korah Shrine’s downstairs bar will be open for guests 21 and over for beer, wine and cocktails during the show. Food from Archie’s Place food truck will be available for purchase in the El Korah Shrine parking lot.
VPS Idaho will have hourly raffle drawings, records spinning all day on the VPS hi-fi and merchandise for sale. Visitors to the swap can also sign up for free VPS membership.
